M88MB3000 is a JEDEC-compliant Advanced Memory Buffer (AMB) with data rates up to 800MT/s for FBDIMM (Fully Buffered DIMM) applications. The AMB serves as the central component of the FBDIMM, which employs high-speed, serial, point-to-point interfaces to communicate with the Memory controller and other FBDIMMs. It enables DDR2 memory solutions with lower power consumption and higher speeds for applications such as servers and workstations.
