Dr. Howard Yong co-founded Montage Technology with Mr. Stephen Tai in 2004, serving as Chairman of the Board, CEO, and Chief Scientist. From 1990 to 1994, Dr. Yang worked on chip design and development at companies such as National Semiconductor in the United States. From 1994 to 1996, he was the head of new product development at Shanghai Belling. In 1997, Dr. Yang co-founded Newave Technology with his colleagues, which successfully merged with IDT in 2001. Dr. Yang was elected as an IEEE Fellow in 2010 and elevated to IEEE Life Fellow in 2022. Additionally, Dr. Yang has received numerous awards, including the IEEE CAS Industrial Pioneer Award, the JEDEC Distinguished Executive Leadership Award, the Magnolia Gold Award presented by the Shanghai Municipal Government, and the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 China Mainland Award, among others. Dr. Yang graduated from Oregon State University in the United States with a master's and doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Mr. Stephen Tai has served as Director of the Board and President of Montage Technology since its founding in 2004. Mr. Tai has 30 years of experience in semiconductor architecture, design, and engineering management. From 1994 to 1995, he worked as a senior design engineer at Sigmax Technology. From 1995 to 2003, he was a founding core team member of Marvell Technology Group and served as the Director of Engineering R&D. In 2023, Mr. Tai was awarded the Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award. Mr. Tai graduated from Johns Hopkins University in the United States with a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; he later obtained a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Ms. Phoebe Su joined Montage Technology in 2007 and has held various positions including Financial Director and Vice President of Administration and Finance. She currently serves as Vice President and Finance Chief. Before joining Montage Technology, Ms. Su worked as an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Finance Director at Dow Corning Silicone Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Finance Director at Dow Corning (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. Ms. Su graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor’s degree.
Ms. Carol Fu joined Montage Technology in 2016 and has held various positions including Manager of Securities Affairs, Senior Manager of Securities Affairs, and Securities Representative. She currently serves as the Board Secretary. Prior to joining Montage Technology, Ms. Fu worked as a Securities Representative and Legal Counsel at Shanghai Jinqiao Information Co., Ltd., and as an Assistant to the Board Office and Legal Counsel at New Focus Group. She holds the qualification for Board Secretary of the STAR Market from the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Ms. Fu graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a master's degree in Economic Law and holds a legal professional qualification.
